Verlibena define their style as blues-ethno-rock. The members of the band have always been interested in roots of music and mankind. Common urge towards the things archaic and authentic brought them to the blues (as fusion of primal and European musical thinking) and ethnic motives. Ultimately the band’s repertoire consists of blues numbers (both original and standard) as well as variations of ethnic tunes.
Verlibena opened the folk-rock section of the festival “Великдень у Космачi-2008” (“Easter in Kosmatch-2008”) and won the first prize.
Verlibena were among the winners of the contest “Музыкальный Лидер Крыма 2008” (“Music Leader of the Crimea-2008”).
The band was the one to start out the music part of the Slavic art festival “Рунный посох” (“Runny Posokh”), Sevastopol.
In August 2008 the band was opening for Ukrainian singer Ruslana.
In August 2009 Verlibena took part in SvirZ 2009 festival.
In September 2009 Verlibena took part in Маzеpа-fest 2009.
Verlibena was rewarding with diploma in the festival “Червона Рута 2009” (“Tchervona Ruta”).
This band from Simferopol if well-known by the audience of the Kiev radio station “Rocks”.
The band often performs in the “Бочка Хмельная” (“Bochka Khmelnaya”) bar, Kiev. One of those performances was filmed by the National Geographic Channel.
Verlibena gives Blues Evenings in the Sevastopol art-club “Бастион” (“Bastion”) and Simferopol club “Фаэтон” (“Phaeton”). Verlibena perform frequently in the “Богема” (“Bohema”) jazz-club (Koktebel), as well as in art-café “Agata” (Kharkiv) and blues-bar “Дикий Z” (“Dykyj Z”) in Odessa, Hendrix-bar (Alushta), Art-Shinok (Ternopil), art-cafe Hymera (Ivano-Frankivsk), Hamilton’s Pub (Belgorod, Russia), Pintagon club (Kharkiv).
